Its mighty rivers have blessed India. Passing through the Varanasi, the spectacular 2,500-kilometer-long Ganges river is also an important religious place and is much esteemed. Varanasi is between the Ganges confluences with two rivers: the Varuna and the Assi stream.

India’s temples also provide vivid interior photography opportunities. Here, the camera has captured the majesty of the towering columns and brightly painted ceilings of the Meenakshi Amman Temple in Madurai. Also known as Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple, I believe it is the same place where Lord Shiva (Sundareswarar) and Goddess Parvati(Meenakshi) tied the knot. Reflecting its spiritual aura over worshippers is the oldest temple of Madurai, Meenakshi Temple, the Assi stream.
